Pawpaw, I’m so happy that you’re home now, shining your heavenly glow. The tears that fall for you are a little bittersweet, but slow. You created a beautiful, loving family with a beautiful, loving woman. Now that you’re reunited and with Jesus, you can forever be our guardian.
The birthday phone calls, parties and holidays will always be cherished memories, and if Wes can improve his Donald Duck voice, you’ve created traditions that will hopefully last for centuries. With very few words you taught me so much about patience, love, and kindness. I love you and I’ll miss you, and don’t worry, I’ll always be Pawpaw’s Princess.
Give mawmaw a hug and a kiss for me, and tell her I miss her soft hands and hearing her voice pronounce my name as “Eye-shlee”.

“I’m just a living legacy to the Leader of the Band.” That Dan Fogelberg song, which I played and sang for my Dad, Reminds me of what my Dad meant to me. He brought music in to my life, gave me my first guitar lessons and my first guitar. I played alongside him in Church for many years, and it was truly a joy to my heart. He passed to me the natural talent of singing harmony. He strived every day to make sure the needs of all of his children were met. I love him and miss him dearly. Dad, give Mom, Buz, and Carmen and big hug for me. Mark.
