Mr. Gerrard was a lifelong resident of Charlotte, graduating from Harding High School and was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force National Guard during the Korean War.
Mr. Gerrard is survived by his wife, Barbara M. Gerrard and his sons, David L. Gerrard (Sheryl) and Jeffrey W. Gerrard (Paula), both residing in Charlotte, NC. He is also survived by grandchildren, Joshua Gerrard, Colt Gerrard and Brianna Christy, and great-grandchildren, Hayden and Journey Christy.
A Private Service will be held.
