Funeral services will be at 12:30PM Monday February 2nd in the Paul Helton Chapel of Forest Lawn West Funeral Home, Reverends Rush Otey and Mary Bowman officiating. Visitation will be one hour (l1130-12:30PM) prior to the service.
Mr. Ramsey was born October 6, 1933 in Charlotte. He attended Tech High School, was a member of the Tech High Lunch Bunch, member of the VFW and the Belmont Moose Lodge in Belmont. He was owner/operator of Ramsey Electric & Supply Company. He was one of the top golfers in the area for many years and played many rounds with his friends at Oak Hills Golf Course. In his later years he enjoyed singing and spending time with his friends.
Surviving are sons, Alan Ramsey and wife, Debbie of Powder Springs, Ga. and Dale Ramsey and wife Beth of Charlotte, grandchildren, Jennifer, Karah, and Adam and a sister, Gloria Jean Fincher of Charlotte. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lonnie Carr and Hazel Callahan Ramsey and his wife, Ruby Adams Ramsey.
