Zachary Grichenko, 25, passed away on September 2, 2025, at his home in Indian Land, South Carolina. He was born on November 4, 1999, in Warwick, Rhode Island, the beloved son of Anna Grichenko (Dudrova) and Alexandr Grichenko.
Zachary graduated from York Comprehensive High School in 2018. In his short but full life, he found joy and purpose in many things—competing in wrestling, playing football, and working with his hands, especially on cars. He was the family’s go-to handyman and built a successful career as an automotive technician with Infiniti.
Always generous with his time and talents, Zachary was the first to lend a helping hand, especially to those he loved. He cherished time spent with his family, whether it was fixing their vehicles, heading out on a camping trip, or enjoying a sunny day at the beach.
A dedicated enthusiast of physical fitness, Zachary’s commitment was clear to anyone who met him. He was in the process of becoming a certified personal trainer and had aspirations of entering competitive bodybuilding. Though he was too humble to say it, his strength and physique were truly remarkable.
Zachary was a light at every family gathering—always present, always bringing people together, and always making others laugh. He was humble, kind, generous, and above all, a God-fearing man whose faith was an important part of his life.
He is survived by his mother Anna, father Alexandr, sister Yana, and brothers Max and Mark. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
A service to celebrate Zachary’s life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 12th, 2025 in the chapel of McEwen Funeral Service- Pineville Chapel, 10500 Park Road. Interment will take place at Forest Hills Cemetery located in Rock Hill, at 4290 Old York Road.
