Anita Carver

Anita Ann Canipe Carver, 62, of Charlottesville, gained her angel wings on August 22, 2020. She was preceded in death by her father Gene Canipe and mother Nancy Canipe. She is survived by her 2 daughters Angie Craig, Brandy Goldsmith and husband Buzzy, her 2 sons Adam Carver and girlfriend Gabby, Logan Carver and girlfriend Gisele. She is survived by her sisters Debbie Loving and husband Larry, Susan Morris and husband Steve, brothers Mike Canipe and wife Mary Lou, Tony Canipe and wife Robin, Darryl Canipe and wife Sue, and Michael John Canipe and girlfriend Cristal. She leaves behind 5 grandchildren; Alex Dorman, Justin Morris, Nick Herring, Cheyenne Herring, and Ethan Carver. She leaves behind her best friend of 52 years Peggy Hickes Johnson. Also her precious dog Sashia, and cat Brittany. As well as many nieces and nephews. The family wishes to thank the Hospice of the Piedmont staff, Sentara Martha Jefferson Hospital physicians and nursing staff, and Sentara Martha Jefferson Hematology & Oncology Associates for the care our mother received during her battle with cancer. With special thanks to Dr. Andrew Romano for his compassion during these difficult years. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Sentara Martha Jefferson Hematology & Oncology Associates. Per our mother's wishes a service will not be held. The family will have a personal celebration of her life.
