Antony Joseph Bartlett passed away Tuesday morning, May 12, 2015 at his residence in Charlottesville, VA. He was born January 19, 1944 in Slough, England to the late Marjorie Sarah Bartlett and father Joseph William George Bartlett. He is survived by his two loving daughters Alison Leigh Bartlett of Charlottesville , VA and Lindsey Bartlett of Houston, TX. Tony enjoyed travelling extensively in his youth, crossing America in a greyhound bus and going through the Middle East and Asia. He lived in Thailand, Papua New Guinea, Australia and Canada before settling down as a journalist in Hawaii with his late wife, Cynthia, whom he met in London and married in 1972. They moved to Charlottesville in 1999. A graveside service will be held on Sunday, May 17th, at 2pm at Oak Union Baptist Church, 2000 Owensville Rd., Charlottesville.
