I am deeply saddened to learn of Carol’s passing. I knew Tom and Carol in the early seventies. I was part of a group that met once a week at their house. We became good friends. When they bought the Sugar Hollow property, I helped them ‘age’ wood inside the house, above the stable. Every fall we pressed cider in the old apple press. I have many fond memories of Carol. My heart goes out to you Chris.

I have been trying to get in touch with Mrs.Gates for years. I am soooo sorry to hear about her passing. I would have loved to visit with her.  She will be missed.  A genuine lovely lady. Great memories from Browns Coves, Va.
