Born November 30, 1971 in Charlottesville, he was the son of Larry and Janice Gibson Jones.
In addition to his parents, Kelly is survived by three children, Kiersten Jones, Katelyn Jones and Steven Jones; two sisters, Tracy Jones and her special friend Lee Montgomery, and Laurie Jones and her fiancé Will Quillon; one grandchild, Jahvon Banks; a niece, Danielle Dorman; and a nephew, Deke Jones.He leaves behind a host of loving family members.
The family would like to say thank you to the doctors, nurses, and all the units at the University of Virginia Medical Center, especially the Transplant Team, and all of Kelly’s friends for the love and support during his life.
A funeral service will be conducted on Monday, May 19, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at the Teague Chapel.
Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery.
The family will receive friends the hour prior to the service at Teague Funeral Home.
