Born October 27, 1927 in Birmingham AL, she was the daughter of Perry G. and Aleyne Williams Brown.
Claudia was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Lowell Kenneth Thompson and a brother Thomas William Brown.
She is survived by 3 children; Lowell Ashley Thompson, Justin Kenneth Thompson and Annabel Thompson Britton; a brother Glenn W. Brown; 7 grandchildren and 7 Great Grandchildren.
Prior to getting married Claudia was a legal secretary. She served as a longtime member of the Monticello Garden Club and the Shadwell Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
