Connie Mae “Sugar”, 75 of Charlottesville, VA passed into eternity on March 27, 2024, at UVA Medical Center. She was born on April 15, 1948 to George and Margaret Eary of Charlottesville, VA. Connie was loved dearly by all who knew her, whether they were family, friends or faithful Kroger customers in her line. She had such a caring and compassionate heart toward people, especially children, whom they had adopted many along the way. She enjoyed spontaneous trips to the beach with her husband of 46 years, as well as getting together with her cousins, Liz and Susan known sweetly as the ‘Spicy Sisters’ at Guadalajara with their favorite “young boyfriend”, Maurcio. She also had another “young boyfriend”, Chicken George, who served with Ricky in the Air Force and loved her dearly. Connie is preceded in death by her parents and only son, “Scooter” Morris. She is survived by her husband, Ricky Clatterbuck of Charlottesville; granddaughters, Amber Roberts (Michael “Randy”) and Taylor Morris; five Great-Grandchildren; cousins Susan Wood (Roger), Liz Gibson (Carl), Martha Vest, Beverley Ann and many members of her extended family. The family would like to give a big hug around the neck to the staff and medical team at the University of Virginia for their excellent care and concern for their loved one. A Celebration of Life and all that she meant to loved ones will be on April 7, 2024, at 2:00 p.m., at Teague Funeral Service 2260 Ivy Road, Charlottesville, VA 22903. Per family request, please dress casual.
