Deanna Clair Barker was born August 21, 1938 in Turlock, California. She lived in Turlock and Madera, California before moving to Baton Rouge, Louisiana with her husband as a young adult. She lived in Charlottesville, Virginia for the last ten years of her life.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Ruth and Eugene Clair.
She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Glynn Barker, along with three children, six grandchildren, one great-grandson, and one grandcat: Tobin and Linda Barker of Denham Springs, Louisiana (Amanda, Wade, Mark, Meagan, great-grandson Bryson), Susan and Rick Netemeyer of Charlottesville (Claire and Will), and Melissa Barker of Charlottesville (Lucy). She is also survived by a brother and two sisters.
She was a beloved wife, sister, and mother and she will be sorely missed by all.
