To the family of Mrs. Doris Dowell,

I am saddened to learn of Mrs. Dowell's death.  She was my Head Start teacher at Sugar Hill and had been a family friend every since.  I pray she has left you all with treasured memories as she rests in the arms of Jesus.  God knows I have many fond memories of the love she showed to me, my family, and others, especially children.

Be encouraged and cherish the times you all shared together.

My heart hurts that you a gone, your suffering is over. I will miss seeing your smiling face and taking walks with you and having long life talks. You were always so kind to me and you loved my kids like they were your family. I appreciated your friendship and miss you dearly.
