Guy was a treasured friend and classmate at the US Naval Academy   (Annapolis).   When I think of him, I always picture a big smile on his face.  He was one of the strongest human beings I've ever met - his death comes as a real shock.  He was always up for a party or a good time ... there are so many stories, including a wild adventure in New Zealand (photo below) after Guy got several of us involved with a pro rugby team during a midshipman cruise.  He and his wife Jacquie were avid scuba divers ... the loss of their boat was a heartbreaking retirement setback.  Guy will be terribly missed whenever 19th Company gets together.

We are so sad to hear of Guy's passing.  For many years he was a great friend, company mate and neighbor during our Navy life.  So many memories of living nextdoor in Monterey and down the street in Pensacola.  Our son Ken and Gregg were best buds.
Though our contact ended after Jackie's passing, he was always remembered during Navy football weekends.

Guy was a great friend, company mate and classmate at the Naval Academy in the late 60's and early 70's.  The guy could party with the best of them but was always available to help someone with a need.  We had difficulty staying in touch with Guy later in life so its been awhile since we last saw him, but I can honestly say that I though of him often and hoped we could get together.  I guess it will have to be in different place.  He will be sorely missed by a great many friends.

I am so sorry for your loss. It was a pleasure to know Mr. Carrier. Keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers.
