Randolph Earl Raines Sr.

Randolph Earl Raines, 79 of Scottsville, VA went to be with our Lord and savior at Martha Jefferson Hospital on May 18, 2025.

Randolph was born on March 15, 1946 to the late Doffie and Viola Raines.

He is preceded in death by his son Ricky Raines and a daughter Trisha Crawford. Also by his brothers; William, Clyde, Charles, Albert, and Thomas Raines, and one sister; Dorothy Madison. Also three great grand kids; Milo Nichols, Peyton Bryant, Baby Barnes.

Randolph is survived by his wife Joyce Ann Raines of 17 years, three sons Shawn Raines ( Shia), Pat Raines, Randy Raines JR., step daughter Anna Bryant ( James). He is also survived by his brothers; Nelson, Richard ( Barbara), Warren( Paula), Ronnie( Karen), a sister Myrtle Garrison and sister-in-laws; Betty, Libby, Shirley, and Fay Raines along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, grandkids and great grandchildren.

Randolph worked at Albemarle County Service Authority for 30 plus years. He enjoyed watching NASCAR, New York Yankees, and the Miami Dolphins. He was also a die hard fan of the Virginia Cavaliers.

A celebration of life for Randolph will be held at a later date.
