Ronnie Lane Neal

Ronnie Lane Neal, 80, of Charlottesville, VA, passed away peacefully at home on January 10, 2021, after a long battle with kidney disease. He was born March 1, 1940, in Walkertown, NC, to Thurman Lee Neal and Ailene Craig Neal. He is survived by his wife of 57 Years, Carolyn Beck Neal; three children, Jacqueline Paige Neal (Paul Casalaspi) of Midothian, VA; Kristi Neal Packer (James) of Midlothian, VA; and Rob Landon Neal (Merribeth) of Charlottesville, VA; two grandchildren, Landon Reid Neal and Abbey Lane Packer; and brother, Thurman Lee Neal, Jr. (Ruby) and nephew Michael Kevin Neal (Torena), all of Lexington, NC. Special thanks to Angie Jenkins of Davita Dialysis for her care and support over the past five years. Ronnie was a much loved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend who will be missed by many and we could say so much more about his life, but he made us promise that this was all we would include in his obituary. There will be no memorial service at this time. Donations in his memory may be made to the National Kidney Foundation or the Charlottesville-Albemarle Rescue Squad. And in his words, may all your days be Finer Than Frog Hair.
