Ruby Mae Baber Witt, 89, of Crozet, formerly of Covesville, left this earth to be with the Lord on November 27, 2014. She is survived by her two sons, Jackie Witt and wife Ruth of Scottsville, VA and Donald Witt and partner Erin Thompson of Elizabeth City, NC; four granddaughters, Stephanie Lawson and husband Brian, Chrystan Bunch and husband Raymond, Kimberly Witt and partner Derek Snyder, and Ammie Witt; six great grandchildren, Christopher Karten, Kelsi Lawson, Kayla Snyder, Rose, Victoria and Robert Bunch; and her friends at Mountainside Senior Living in Crozet. She was preceded in death by her husband Clifford Witt, sister Margie Thompson, brother Raymond Baber, and parents Dean and Clara Baber. The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 p.m. Sunday, November 30, 2014 at the Teague Funeral Home. A graveside service will be conducted 2 p.m. Monday, December 1, 2014 at Riverview Cemetery with Pastor David Knighton officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Mountainside Senior Living, 1220 Crozet Avenue, Crozet, VA 22932.
