Ruth was born on January 27, 1944, in Pittsburgh PA, to Charles and Ruth Farrell. Worked in hospitality industry and was most proud of owning a restaurant, the Greystone Manor, in Pittsburgh.
Ruth was preceded in death by her 4 siblings; Charles Farrell, Janet Banachoski, Patricia Soeder and James Farrell.
Ruth is survived by her son, James Banachoski, wife, Amy, Daughter, Christine Rudge, husband, Darryl, and her grandchildren, Jalee, Chloe, Emmary and Ian, all of whom she treasured.
A graveside blessing will be held on August 1st at, 10:00 a.m. at Saint May’s cemetery, Sharpsburg, PA.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to the “Department of Psychiatry & Neurobehavioral Sciences 16345” to support child psychiatry at UVA School of Medicine. Checks can be made out to Rector and Visitors of UVA and mailed to UVA Health, P.O.
