Shawn Michael Forbes

Shawn was born June 16, 1979 to Mr. Dennis Michael Forbes and Mrs. Monica Star Holsapple-Forbes.

Shawn was a graduate of Western Albemarle High School and of the Catec Auto Mechanics program Shawn was working as a Landscaper, which he thoroughly enjoyed. He loved being with his daughters, family and friends. He enjoyed going fishing, working on cars and going to the race track.

Shawn is Preceded in death by his Maternal Grandfather, Edward "Penny" Franklin Holsapple and Paternal Grandfather William "Buddy" Lewis Hiter

He is survived by his two daughters; Madalynn Star Forbes and Baylie Grace Forbes, his Maternal Grandmother Helen "Flo" Florine Holsapple, Paternal Grandmother Patsy "Pat" Yvonne Kelley and her husband Barry Kelley, his brother Shane Evan Forbes, his sister Alicia Danielle Forbes, her companion Randall “Buck” Herring and their children Ty and Trevor Herring.

Also surviving are his Aunt Lisa Reese and Uncles; Melvin "Earl" Reese, Doug Forbes, his wife Karen, Tommy Forbes and his wife Debbie. Cousins; Heather Reese, Shannon Reese, Ashley Reese, Kristen Reese, Tonya Payne, Tammy Trent, Amanda Morris, Jessica Morris, Codi Forbes, Christina Snow, Alex Davis, and Brandon Dillon, as well as numerous friends, loved ones and extended family.

The family will have a graveside internment on Wednesday, April 29, 2020 at 1pm in Holly Memorial Gardens in Charlottesville with the Pastor Sean Dickerson officiating.
