Steven Rea Davis

Steve attended Miller School and graduated from Lane High School, and attended PVCC. Steve worked for Stromberg Carlson for many years, Comdial, Sperry, also for Red Light Management in shipping.

Steve was an avid reader, especially of history. His favorite hobby was Civil War Reenacting which he participated in for his entire adult life. His unit was the 19th Virginia Infantry Company B "The Albemarle Rifles" and they were like his second family.

He was a lifetime NRA member, a one time certified NRA instructor, and a member of the Rivanna Rifle and Pistol Club where he was active in Cowboy Action Shooting as well as competing for years in PPC and High Power Rifle Matches winning many trophies.

Steve is survived by many friends and relatives who will all miss his fellowship and good humor. No one enjoyed a good pun or wry turn of phrase more than Steve.

An informal memorial service will be held Saturday December 28th at 11am at the Scottsville VFW Hall.
