Vanessa Gayle Spencer

Vanessa was born on May 18, 1957, in Charlottesville, Virginia, to James Randolph Critzer and Louise Maxine Crenshaw. She loved her time as manager at Kings Dominion and McDonald's. She loved cross stitching, watching old westerns, watching the dogs play on good days, spending time with her family and karate friends, fried squash and dark chocolate.

Vanessa was preceded in death by her, father James Randolph Critzer, her mother Louise Maxine Crenshaw, and brother Toney Critzer .

Vanessa is survived by her husband Roy Spencer, eldest daughter Heather Mallory and son in law Shawn Mallory, youngest daughter Dakotah Johnson and her son in law Scott Johnson and her Grandson James mallory, her Sister in Law Diane Critzer,Todd Critzer and wife Judy Critzer ,Travis Critzer and wife Angie Critzer, Jana Lane and husband Robert Lane, Joni Killian and husband Mike Killian, Juli Alston and husband Thomas Alston, Johnny Dubley and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends and family from 6:00p.m. - 8:00pm on Tuesday, June 7, 2022 at Teague Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, June 8, 2022 in the Chapel at Teague Funeral Home.
