William Watkins

William Benjamin Watkins, 66, of Charlottesville, passed away on December 26, 2017. William was born on April 22, 1951, to Elkin Ewin and Ruth Marilyn Watkins. Although he was a fantastic Software Analyst at Clarivate Analytics, his true loves were his wife and children, and his music. In his younger years he traveled as a professional musician, and continued to play throughout the remainder of his life. He enjoyed traveling and had done so to many countries on several continents. William was preceded in death by his mother and father, Ruth and Elkin Watkins. William is survived by his wife, Sue Watkins, his children, Luke and Abbi Watkins, his brother Tom Watkins, and all of the many extended family. A celebration of life well be held on Saturday, January 6, 2018, from 1-3pm, at Teague Funeral Service in Charlottesville. Memorial contributions may be made to the Music Resource Center, in Charlottesville, VA, in order to help others experience the joy of music.
