M. Doris (Pryde) Allen passed away peacefully at the age of 95 on May 7, 2023 at the Mayflower Nursing Home. She was born on November 18, 1927 in Boston. She lived in Westwood and Dedham until 1972 when she moved to Cape Cod. Doris was a resident of South Orleans, Harwichport, and Brewster. She was the proprietor of a bed and breakfast, worked for two local insurance agencies, and the Harwich Community Center. Doris will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by many friends and family. Doris was predeceased by her loving husband, Arthur P. Allen, Jr. Private burial services were held at Evergreen Cemetery in East Harwich on May 12.
