Elaine H White

CHATHAM-Elaine H. White, 85, of Chatham past away peacefully at home on Wednesday, July 13, 2016. Born on March 5, 1931. She was the daughter of the late Phyllis Margaret Hunt and Charles William Robie. Elaine was a home maker. She enjoyed her birdies, baking goodies, riding her bicycle, gardening, being outdoors, vacation cruises, and family Christmas’s. She was a feisty, energetic, sweetest, wonderful and amazing woman. More than anything, she cherished the times she spent with her family. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her loving husband of 61 years, William C. White; and her daughter, Donna E. Long; her siblings Eleanor, Gloria, Carlton, and Everett; her granddaughter, Cherie White; her great grandchildren, Destiny, Jordan, and Nathan. Elaine is survived by her daughters, Deborah Warren of CT., and April Touchette of Utah; her sons, Ronald White of Harwich, and William White Jr. of Utah; her grandchildren, Casandra White of Centerville, Leah Warren of FL, SPC Stephen White, stationed in Germany, Elliott Long of Texas, Ashley White, Brian White, Dakota White, Konnor White, Caelen White, Liam White, and Ceilidh White; her great granddaughter, Mikaela Eldredge; her sisters Hazel, Norma, Stella, and Virginia. Her sister in-law Linda Fontneau of Chatham and several nieces and nephews. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 am on Friday, July 29, 2016 at Holy Redeemer Church, 57 Highland Avenue in Chatham. The Rite of Committal will follow in Union Cemetery in Chatham.
