Mary is predeceased by her parents Catherine and Edward O’ Shaughnessy.
Her greatest joys were attending daily mass, entertaining and loving children and helping others.
Mary is survived by her three children John, Patti and Kevin Dempsey; sister Kathleen Martel and her nephew, Christopher Martel.
Visitation will be held at Nickerson Funeral Home, Chatham on Friday morning from 9-10:30, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Redeemer Church in Chatham at 11AM. Burial will follow at Seaside Cemetery in Chatham. For online condolences, please visit www.nickersonfunerals.com.
