He was born on February 24, 1960 in Memphis and grew up there. He has lived in Chattanooga for the past 8 Years.
He was a legendary AAU Basketball Coach in Memphis for many years. His coaching skills produced some of the finest basketball players in the sport.
He is Preceded in death by his father: Charles Easterwood, mother: Evelyn Easterwood, brother Mark Vincent Easterwood.
He is Survived by his wife: Camillia Easterwood of Chattanooga,TN. brother: Gary Clark Easterwood of Rossville,GA. son: Michael Cain of Huntington Beach,CA. son: Courtney Easterwood of Memphis,TN. stepson: Johnny Richie Jr. of Clarksville,TN. stepdaughter: LaTesha Rice of Tampa,FL. Also several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
A Celebration of life gathering will be held on March 2, 2020 Monday from 6:00p.m.-8:00p.m. at Advantage Funeral &Cremation Services,Franklin-Strickland Chapel.
