Darrell Jones

Darrell Jones Sr. was born September 1, 1959 to Jim Willie “Jimbo” and Corean Jones in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

He attended Howard High School where he graduated; then served in the United States Army as an expert in Hand Grenade and Marksman M16.

Darrell worked several jobs in the Chattanooga area over the past few years however he had a passion for art, music and the culinary arts.

Preceding him in death are his parents, Jim Willie “Jimbo” and Corean Jones; stepmother, Vallie Mae Jones; and sister, ReKendria Jones.

He leaves to cherish his memories son, Darrell (Nataki) Jones Jr.; grandson, Devin Deshawn Johnson; three sisters, Marguerite Sanderfer and Cheryl (Kenneth) Smith all of Chattanooga, Tennessee, Autumn Webb of Atlanta, Ga; brother, Jim Willie Jones Jr. of Murfreesboro, Tennessee; nieces, LaTrina Coleman, La’Trenita (Kenneth) McDonald and LaTisha Smith; nephews, Larry Sanderfer Jr. and Kenneth (April) Smith Jr. all of Chattanooga, Tennessee, Franklin (La’Toscha) Smith of Orlando, Florida; 9 great nephews, 4 great nieces, a special cousin William (Buster) Rice Jr. and a host of relatives and friends.

A Visitation for Darrell will be held on Friday, September 9, 2022 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm in the Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services-Franklin-Strickland Chapel.

A Graveside Service will follow at 1:30 pm at the Chattanooga, National Cemetery, 1200 Bailey Ave, Chattanooga, TN 37404.
