Frank was born in Lodi, Ohio on December 28, 1930 to Vera Anna Park and Frank Douglas Chamberlain II. He retired from the United States Air Force at Beale Air Force Base in 1974 where he was a flying staff officer for the 9th SRW (SR-71). Lt. Col. Chamberlain was commissioned a 2nd Lt. in 1954 and served on active duty for 23 years. He was a B-47 pilot and B-52 Aircraft Commander during the Korean and Vietnam Wars. He was an active member in local politics and the Episcopal Church, and a 49 year member (1974-2021) of the Lions Club.
He was predeceased in death by his wives, Carol Ann Heaston in 2008 and Joey Hollingsworth in 2019.
Frank is survived by his twin sons, Donald H. (Karen) of Ooltewah, TN and Ronald H. (Janet) of Grass Valley, CA, daughter, Rebecca Turner (James) of Kissimee, FL, daughter, Theresa of Idaho Falls, ID, 10 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
He will be interred at the Chattanooga National Cemetery.
