George was born in Savannah, Georgia, to the Late George Kemp Sr. and Colette Anis Spencer. He served in the United States Airfore as a Pilot during WWII. George worked for Draper Bros.
George also was a short story writer, enjoyed gardening and photographer.
George was preceded in death by his son John N. Kemp and parents.
George is severed by his wife of 71 years Jeanne S. Kemp of Chattanooga, TN; two daughters Mickey Bartee of Red bank, TN and Nancy Kemp of Chattanooga, TN; son Joe B. Kemp of Stanford, Ct; twelve grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren.
A celebration of Life service for George will be conducted at 3 pm on Saturday, April 13, 2019 with Reverend Paul Raider officiating, at Bradley Healthcare Chapel, 2910 Peerless Road, Cleveland, TN.
