Guy Lucine Hines

He was a former employee of Tennessee Plywood.

Guy loved sports, his favorite was football.

Guy was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Ruth Hines; and sisters, Charlene Hines Green and Loria Ann Hines.

Those he leaves behind to cherish his memory include his brother, Charles Thomas (Selana) Hines of Detroit, MI; sisters, Lolita Hines and Pattie Richardson, both of Chattanooga, TN; aunts, Jenella Tucker, Betty Jean Melson, Pattie Phillips, Renee Collins and Cornelia Wilkerson all of Chattanooga, TN, Rosy Rowe of Stanford, Connecticut, Bertha Wilkerson of Atlanta, GA and Carolyn Wilkerson of Carrollton, GA; uncle, Dolphus Phillips of Chattanooga, TN; devoted cousin, Dolphus Phillips, Jr; devoted friends, Wilbert Lawrence and Eddie Choice; a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A Celebration of Life Service for Guy will be held on Saturday, March 28, 2026 at 1:00 pm at Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services Franklin-Strickland Chapel, 1724 McCallie Avenue, Chattanooga, TN, 37404. Elder Clyde Robinson will be the officiant.
