Jack Edward Lee, 87 of Chattanooga passed away Friday, June 26, 2015 in a local hospital. He was a member of Ridgedale Baptist Church and the Tellers Group. Mr. Lee was a graduate of the University of Chattanooga and was retired from American Manufacturing Company. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving in WWII.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Louise Underwood Lee and two brothers, Harry Lee and Bobby Lee.
Survivors include his son, Brian (Clella) Lee of Birmingham, Alabama; grandsons, Austin (Courtney) Lee of Atlanta; Clayton (Gretchen) Lee of Hershey, PA; one great-granddaughter, Elsie Lynn Lee.
Funeral services will be held at 4 PM Sunday at the East Brainerd Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, 8214 East Brainerd Road. The family will receive friends following the service. Private burial will be in Chattanooga National Cemetery on Monday.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Ridgedale Baptist Church, Building Fund, 1831 Hickory Valley Road, Chattanooga, Tennessee 37421.
