Born January 12, 1954, Jacqueline lived in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
Jacqueline was a proud 1972 graduate of Riverside High School. She was a member of Thankful Baptist Church and was previously employed as a Caregiver.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Capers, Jr; mother, Ruth Doss; father, Sam Doss, Jr.; sisters, Georgia Southern and Betty Harris; and brother, Wilson McDonald.
Those Jacqueline leaves behind to cherish her memory include her sister, Patricia Trimble of Chattanooga, TN; brother, Jerry (Sharon) Doss of Fredericksburg, VA; sister-in-law, Ann McDonald of Dallas, TX; brother-in-law, Joel Southern of Kingston, GA; devoted niece and Caregiver, Maria Southern of Chattanooga, TN; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends.
A Visitation for Jacqueline will be held on Thursday, April 2, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm at Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services - Franklin Strickland Chapel, 1724 McCallie Ave, Chattanooga, TN 37404.
