Jewell Rothwell McClure

Jewell enjoyed playing Bingo, Fishing and working with her flowers.

Jewell was preceded in death by her parents Charles Walter Rothwell and Nellie Gooch Rothwell; brothers James, Harold, Clarence, Clyde ( Bud), Coulie Rothwell. Sisters Ruth Swafford and Gladys Hamilton.

Jewell is survived by two daughters Sue Ann Cornett and Annette McClure Brown both of Dayton, TN; sister Ruby Rothwell Doss of Dayton, TN; two grandsons Zachary ( Nicole) Hale of Danville, VA and Jerry Ray ( Candi) Harris of Dayton, TN; great grandson Jerry Dakota ( Reba) Harris of Pikeville, TN; two great granddaughters Lydia ( D’ron) Harris of Pikeville, TN and Kalina Rae Hale of Danville, VA; many nieces and nephews and special loved ones R.J. (Angie) McClure and their children.

The family will receive friends on Friday, March 11, 2022 from 12-2 pm at Solomon’s Porch Church, 9125 Rhea County Highway, Dayton, TN.

Funeral service for Mrs. Jewell will be held at 2 pm on Friday with Pastor Beverly Louallen, Minister Mark Hickman and Pastor Jimmy Jewel officiating.

Interment to follow in Summer City Cemetery.
