John "Jack" Clifford Williams, age 78 of Chattanooga passed away Wednesday, September 19, 2012 at his home. He was born October 16, 1933 in Columbus, Ohio to the late John Clayton & Marjorie McKay Williams.
Mr. Williams was a United States Navy veteran and was retired Regional Sales Manager for Jenn-Air. He was of the Protestant Faith.
His brother, William A. Williams and sister-in-law, Madia Williams preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Kay Williams; two daughters, Deb Chapman of Raleigh, North Carolina; Kate (John) Curlee of Augusta, Georgia; one son, John C. (Alicia) Williams, of Chattanooga; two sisters, Marjorie Davis and Ann (Ernie) Grooms of Columbus, Ohio; and five grandchildren, Kristin & Tyler Chapman; Alexa & Caitlin Williams and Katie Curlee.
Graveside services will be held Friday at 3:00 p.m. at Chattanooga National Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 4-7 p.m. at the East Brainerd Chapel.
