Juan Carlos Abrego Lopez

Juan migrated to the United States in 1989, where he built a life defined by hard work and deep devotion to his family. Throughout his life he successfully managed several marble and granite companies, leaving behind a legacy of determination and perseverance.

Above all else, Juan was a devoted family man.

Juan's life was a reflection of the love he poured into those closest to him.

Juan was known as a hardworking and dedicated man who inspired many throughout his lifetime. He lived his life fully and selflessly, always putting his family first. He found his greatest joy in being surrounded by his children and grandchildren, whom he absolutely adored; his grandchildren held a special place in his heart. He treasured every moment he spent with them, often dedicating his free time to creating lasting memories and sharing in their lives. His bond with them was truly unmatched.

Juan's legacy is one of love, strength and an unwavering commitment to family. The care and devotion he shared will continue to live on through those who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his father, Benjamin Abrego; and his mother, Graciela Lopez.

He is survived by his spouse, Guillermina Vasquez of Chattanooga, TN; son, Juan Carlos Abrego of Chattanooga, TN; daughters, Karla Abrego, Brenda Abrego, Jazmine Abrego and Crystal Abrego, all of Chattanooga, TN; grandsons, Christopher Avalos, Aiden Avalos, Ethan Martinez and Adrian Vega, all of Chattanooga, TN; granddaughters, Emma Martinez, Arely Abrego and Ensley Martinez, all of Chattanooga, TN.

A Visitation for Juan will be held on Tuesday, April 21, 2026 from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services-Franklin Strickland Chapel, 1724 McCallie Avenue, Chattanooga, TN 37404.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, April 22, 2026 at 12:00 pm at St. Stephen Catholic Church, 7111 Lee Hwy, Chattanooga, TN 37421.

Interment will immediately follow at Lakewood Memory Gardens-East, 4621 Shallowford Rd, Chattanooga, TN 37411.
