Born in Folkston, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Hiram Altman Sr. and Lucy Altman. Her husband, Sam McMichen and brother, Hiram Altman Jr. precede her in death.
Kaye was a member of Silverdale Baptist Church. She loved being with her family and friends, but her greatest joy was being Nanny to her grandkids. She will be greatly missed.
Survivors include her daughter, Stacie (Keith) Liles, son, Rob (Megan) Lewis, grandchildren, Garrett, Abbie and Gavin Liles, Ben and Ayden Lewis, great-granddaughter, Olive Rose, brother, Richard Altman and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Monday, December 2, 2024, in the East Brainerd Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.
