He was a very fun and loving person who enjoyed sports.
Marvin was preceded in death by his mother, Maxine Sims Davis; grandmother, Louise K. Sims; and brothers, Terry A. Davis and Roderick A. Sims.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia Stoudemire Davis of Chattanooga, TN; son, Marvin Cartwright of Chattanooga, TN; 15 grandchildren; sisters, Francena Crook of Chattanooga, TN, Inez (Desi) Lawrence-Davis, Valerie (James) Jennings and Nicole Davis; brothers, Randall Davis and Phillip (Angela) Davis, both of Chattanooga, TN, Alvin D. Davis, Marvin D. Davis, Sircar Davis and Marvin Jermaine Davis; several nieces and nephews; 7 brothers-in-laws; and 3 sisters-in-law; other relatives and dear friends.
