Jo was born in Scottsboro, AL on October 28, 1930. She moved to Chattanooga at an early age and after graduating from Central High School in 1948. She married the love of her life, Ted Vickery. She was later employed by Sears, Roebuck & Co. and for many ears she was an interior designer.
Jo was preceded in death by her husband, Ted Vickery, her sister and brother-in-law, Clara & Clyde Ross, nephew Rodney Ross and her parents, Henry & Jannuth Hambrick. She is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Bob & Geneva Vickery, and several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, February 21, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at Ridgeview Baptist Church (6 North Moore Rd, Chattanooga, TN 37411). Pastor Bruce Sloan will officiate.
