An Ironworker by trade in early years, he most recently was a Painter/Handyman, who enjoyed fishing.
Orress was preceded in death by his parents, Orress T. Ayers and Helen (Williams) Ayers; and nephew,
Wade Ayers.
He is survived by two sons, Jarrod (Robin) Ayers of Soddy Daisy, TN and Chad (Amanda) Ayers of Dayton,
TN; brothers, Richie Ayers, Tony (Jackie) Ayers, Tim ( Barbara) Ayers, all of Soddy Daisy; 7 grandchildren;
1 great-grandchild; aunts; cousins; longtime companion and friend, Ava Hixson, other relatives and friends.
