

She was predeceased by her husband of 64 years, Anthony P. Torchia.
Pauline was a Librarian for most of her working life. She and her husband loved to travel and went to places like Malta, Italy and Spain. But most of all she loved to spend time at her home in Coral Springs, Florida where she and her husband lived or over 35 years.
She was a long time member of the Methodist Church in Coral Springs, Florida, and her final resting place is next to her husband in the National Cemetery in West Palm Beach.
She leaves behind her daughter, Nadine Mckenna and her son, James Torchia and his wife, Stephanie who helped care for her over the last few years. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Jason Torchia, Brian Torchia, Lisa Whitten and Ian Mckenna. She was proud of her grandchildren and also leaves behind 7 great grandchildren, they are Tryston, Grayson, Roman, Meadow, Maverick, Nellie and Ezme.
Other special people she leaves behind are Marianne Torchia and Mike and Lynn Torchia, as well as her sister, Madeline Lesperance and several nieces and nephews.
A Visitation will be held on Monday, September 16, 2024 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at the Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services Franklin-Strickland Chapel, 1724 McCallie Ave, Chattanooga, TN 37404.
Services will immediately follow at 2:00 pm.
A Graveside Service at the National Cemetery will be announced at a later date.
A special thanks goes out to her caregivers at Blue Ridge Assisted Living in Blue Ridge, Georgia, as well as the caring doctors and nurses and Hospice care givers who took great care of her in her final days.
