Raymond Leroy Griffiths aged 81, of Chattanooga, gained his wings on September 11th, 2019 in Topeka, Kansas. Raymond had been a resident of Chattanooga for 50 years. He proudly served his country in the U.S Marines, and went on to work for the City of Chattanooga as a Driver for 20 years. Raymond enjoyed fishing and playing golf.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Elise M. Griffiths and son, Troy Griffiths.
Raymond is survived by sons, Donnie (Roxanna) Freeman of Chattanooga and Tony Griffiths of Topeka, KS; daughters, Connie (Dale) Lyons of Chattanooga and Vickie (Reagan) Baker of TX; sister, Ruby Hayes; brother, Bud Griffiths both of Topeka, KS; many grandchildren; great grandchildren; nieces; nephews; other relatives and dear friends.
A visitation will be on Monday, September 16th, 2019 from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services, 1724 McCallie Ave, Chattanooga.
Funeral Services are on Tuesday, September 17th, 2019 at 11:00 am in the funeral home Chapel. Burial will immediately follow at Lakewood Memory Gardens, South, 325 Greens Lake Rd, Rossville, GA 30741.
