She was affectionately known by many as “Miss Ann” and was a longtime member of Brainerd Hills Baptist Church where she taught the 3 and 4 years olds for over 40 years. She had worked as a daycare provider at Concord Baptist Church for many years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, David Medley; two sisters; three brothers; and a great-granddaughter, Addicyn Grace Medley.
Survivors include her son, Mike Medley (Tresa Brown) of Chattanooga, TN; grandchildren, Seth Medley (Abby) of Chattanooga, TN; Whitney Shirley (Josh) of Rock Spring, GA; Josh Medley (Lindsey) of Decatur, TN; great-grandchildren, Lucy & Lottie Medley, Aiden Shirley, and Kaleb Medley.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, April 20, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at Brainerd Hills Baptist Church, (6611 East Brainerd Rd., Chattanooga, TN 37421) Funeral service will begin at 12:00 p.m. with Dr. John Barber officiating.
She will be laid to rest with her husband Wednesday, April 21, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at Lakewood Memory Gardens, East.
