Ruben Leroy Carter

He was employed as a Customer Representative at Home Serve for over a year.

Ruben enjoyed swimming, music, playing video games and singing.

He was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Betty Davis and Daisy Marshall; and grandfathers, Willie Higgins and Rudolph Carter.

Ruben is survived by his mother, Felicia Carter; father, LeRoy Carter; sons, Jur'won Hubbard, Ru'Shawn Carter and Ka'Von Carter; sister, Quelisha Gibbs; brothers, LeRoy Norwood, Joshua Carter and DeMarcus Jordan; nieces, Daliyah Harris,Camarea Gibbs, Ivyana Gibbs, Quira Norwood and Janyiha Carter; aunts, Novella Williams (Gregory Williams), Joyce Rizer, Margret Baxter(Kenneth) Baxter, Ara Collier (Billy Collier) and Gwendolyn Higgins; uncles, Roland Rizer and Radford Davis (Charlene Davis); loving and supportive companion, Shadara Bonds; cousins; other relatives and friends.

A Visitation will be held on Friday, January 30, 2026, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services - Franklin Strickland Chapel, located at 1724 McCallie Ave, Chattanooga, TN, 37404.

A Graveside Service will follow at 1:00 pm. at Highland Memorial Gardens Cemetery, located at 2116 Shepherd Rd, Chattanooga, TN, 37421.
