One of the most genuine people I have ever met.  Started as a patient and became a true friend.  One of those people you may not see often, but whenever you did it was always a pleasure to catch up and share things.

What a great friend. Always a smile, a positive word a wonderful conversation. A mutual friend said something so true - Danny is the only person in the world that you would follow into battle, as we all knew he would protect you from anything! Rest In Peace my dear friend - heaven just gained a great marine.

I’m very sorry to learn that Danny has died.  I met Danny in the early 80s one morning at the Sohio station at Chagrin and Richmond.  Danny and another gentleman had just discussed the proper way to change lanes on Chagrin Blvd…. I, being a police officer in Beachwood, was assigned to the “fight in progress” call.  (Did you know Danny was a boxer in the Marine Corp?).  We became friends that day.  Danny was the most generous person I have ever met.  He was a friend / supporter to our police department.  I feel fortunate he considered me a friend.  It was my honor to have known him.  

I was blessed to have been married to Danny for 35 years.  Our family had years of wonderful times with our relatives and many friends.  He was a success in the business world and he loved to travel.   Danny read continuously and enjoyed lively discussions on any topic.  Most importantly, he lived his life doing good works for people.  So in remembrance of Danny, smile at a stranger, hold a door open,  donate to a cause or help someone like he would.

The Dudek family extends our condolences to Danny Jr., Aimee and Anthony, Shirley and Chris, Tommy and Patty, Bill and Karen, and all relatives and friends.

I was a classmate, teammate and good friend of Danny’s while we were at St. Joe’s.  I am so thankful that we were able to reconnect while planning our 40th and 50th class reunions.  Danny while knowing how to have fun and smile was always in control.  My heartfelt sympathies to all his family and loved ones.    Greg Lieb ‘70.

Grief and mourning comes in waves, some small, some large. Let them wash over you in the moment, and draw strength from memories and support from your loved ones. Live as Danny would want you; accepting the sorrow with the dialectic of joy and comfort from your love for Danny.



Danny wanted the best for everyone, he had a generous nature.
I have had fond memories since 1st grade.  So many , I, like all
who knew him, will miss his genuine decency. Prayers to the 
family at this difficult time. R.I.P. Danny, You will be missed.

To the O'Neil family. I was a classmate of Danny's from St.Joe's '70. It wasn't until after Dan served our country as a United  States Marine that we became friends. Dan was a scuba diving instructor in the Corp. Dan and I would venture out into Lake Erie. I provided the boat, he the gear. It was to say the least an adventure looking for sunken treasure in murky waters. Years later as Dan and I moved from Euclid our families moved to Chesterland where we were reunited again, this time it was our children becoming friends.  Dan will be remembered as a fearless, courageous, and generous soul. Not without a fault, as we all have fallen short but for the grace of God. Rest in Peace my Viking Brother.
