Born October 21, 1941 in Allentown, PA, he was a longtime resident of Chester Twp. Emil worked for General Electric while pursuing his law degree. After graduating and becoming an attorney, he opened his private practice in Chester Twp., and faithfully served clients for over 50 years. Emil was the epitome of a man of service, always wanting to help others in need. He was very active with AA and a member of the Geauga County Drug and Rehabilitation Board. Emil was also very active with his alma mater Penn State University and offered charitable service to multiple charities. He is survived by his partner Carol Pilarczyk; niece Tammy (Alex Bentz) Sos; nephew William Sos, Jr.; siblings Margaret Geosits, Anthony (Sandra) Sos, and Marcella (Michelle Ochs) Sos; nieces Stephanie Geosits, Angie (Jim) Fogle, and Amy Sos; and many great-nieces and great-nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents Anna and Emil F. Sos, Sr.; and brother William Sos, Sr. Family and friends may call at Gattozzi and Son Funeral Home, 12524 Chillicothe Rd., Chesterland on Friday September 16, 2022, 2 – 6 pm.
