Greg McCartney

Greg McCartney, age 66, passed away peacefully March 21, 2025 at his residence. Born January 29, 1959 in Cleveland, he was a resident of Chesterland before moving to Willoughby 18 years ago. Greg was an Equipment Operator with Lincoln Electric for over 40 years, retiring in 2024. He was a member of the Northeast Ohio Mopar Group and loved volunteering with the Cleveland Food Bank. Greg also enjoyed boating, fishing, waterskiing, and most of all spending time with his family. He is survived by his brother Jim; sisters Carol McCartney and Lynn (Brian) Simione; nephews Patrick, Brian, Mario, and Giovanni; great-niece Willow; great-nephew Sawyer; and many cousins. Greg is preceded in death by his wife Amy Rittenhouse-McCartney; parents Jack and Dorothy (nee Sutter); grandparents Mary and John McCartney, and Bernice and Fred Sutter; and sister-in-law Cindy McCartney.
