Jim was born on December 20, 1928 in Detroit, MI, raised in Davis, WV by Henry and Agnes Paugh and had lived in South Euclid before moving to Mentor-on-the-Lake 25 years ago. Jim married Dolly Paugh in 1950. Mr. and Mrs. Paugh happily celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary in December 2020. Mr. Paugh was retired Foreman producing Investment Casting. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran and a member of the Willoughby American Legion Post 214. Mr. Paugh took great joy and pride in his family. He especially enjoyed his time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mr. Paugh is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law, Cindy and Jerry Markowitz of Mount Airy, Maryland, Carolyn and Roger Mealy of Painesville, Ohio; his sons and daughters-in-law James and Amy Paugh, Jr Pickney, Michigan, and John and Zina Paugh of Streetsboro, Ohio; and eight grandchildren and ten great grandchildren; his sister Shirley Jayne, and Dorcas Moviel. He is preceded in death by his grandsons Thomas James Fiorucci and Joshua Swisher, and his brother Richard Paugh. Funeral Service 12:00 pm, Wednesday, April 7, 2021 at Gattozzi and Son Funeral Home, 12524 Chillicothe Rd., Chesterland, with Visitation at the funeral home two hours prior to service. Interment Western Reserve Memorial Gardens in Chesterland. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Mr. Paugh’s life.
