Louise E. Frautschy Rutkowski

Louise E. Frautschy Rutkowski, age 79, of Chagrin Falls, Ohio, passed away peacefully on December 31, 2025. She was born on October 22, 1946, in Kenosha, Wisconsin, to Henry and Wilma Frautschy. Louise married Peter Rutkowski on June 10, 1967, and together they raised five children. She is survived by her daughter Jennifer; sons Robert (Beth), John (Tina), and Daniel (Megan); daughter-in-law Lyndy; her grandchildren Sarabeth, Susannah, Jakob, Maria, Ryan, Jade, Ben, Rose, and Will; and her brother Robert (Linda). She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother Henry; her beloved husband Peter; and her son Matthew.

There will be a service to celebrate her life on Saturday, January 10 at 2 pm at the Federated Church in Chagrin Falls (76 Bell Street).

Louise was a devoted mother and grandmother who remained deeply involved in the lives of her family. She faithfully attended every basketball and football game, track meet, play, recital, graduation, and school program for all nine of her grandchildren. For 15 years, she served as a secretary in the Orange School District, where she cherished her daily interactions with students. Louise was also an active member and dedicated volunteer at the Federated Church in Chagrin Falls. A loyal and caring friend, she enjoyed a rich and active social life and was beloved by many.
