Jeanne,

You were a kind, gentle person of wonderful character when meeting you in 1964, in the tiny town of Mineral Wells, Texas. Honest to a fault, and highly respected in your chosen carrier, you made your mark on the world as one of the only women at that time earning the certification and title of "Airplane Instrument Inspector." 

Your unwavering love of cats was evident, even at that time, and your devotion to animals followed you to Ohio. My life was enriched having known you, and I have often wished I were to you, the thoughtful, kind and considerate human being you were to me. May you rest in peace.

Jeanne, you treated me like a son when I worked for you. You were a true original and will be much missed.
