Mark Jerome Carroll, age 87, passed away peacefully October 19, 2019 in Munson Twp. Born December 25, 1931 in Cleveland, he was a Russell Twp. resident before moving to South Russell several years ago. Mark was a U.S. Army Veteran, serving during the Korean War. He cherished his time volunteering with Fieldstone Farm Therapeutic Riding Center in Bainbridge Twp., and enjoyed working on projects around the house and yard. He loved working on crossword puzzles, and also loved all things trains, especially his HO model train collection. Mark and his late wife Audrey enjoyed spending time at their camper at Evergreen Park. He is survived by his children Bill (Dorrie) Carroll, Judy Lavrich, Mark (Karen) Carroll, Dan (Rose) Carroll, Michelle (Dan) Avram, Richard Serazin, Timothy (Dawn) Serazin, Mike (Jill) Carroll, and Tom Carroll; daughter-in-law May Serazin; 19 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and brother John (Sharon). Mark is preceded in death by his wife Audrey C. Carroll (nee Lynch); son William Serazin; son-in-law Richard Lavrich; and sister Barbara Kilkenny. Mass of Christian Burial 12:00pm, Saturday, October 26, 2019 at the Church of Saint Anselm, 12969 Chillicothe Rd., Chesterland, OH 44026. Visitation at the church one hour prior to Mass.
