He was born Aug. 24, 1924, in Cleveland.
Paul was a U.S. Army veteran serving in World War II and the Korean Conflict. He earned three Bronze Stars, including the Bronze Service Arrowhead, the Good Conduct Ribbon, and the World War II Victory Medal.
Paul always enjoyed being with his friends.
Survivors include his daughter, Carolyn Valotta; many grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his ex-wife, Marge (nee Choma); sister, Mary LaRiccia; and brothers, Mike and Ralph.
Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Friday, March 30, 2012, at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, 15712 Kipling Ave., Cleveland. The Rev. Martin Polito will officiate at the services.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 29, 2012, at DiCicco & Sons Funeral Home, 5975 Mayfield Road, Mayfield Hts. Burial will be in All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Twp.
